Kingdom Watch:Kingdom Patrol

WE MUST DO SOMETHING!!!

Who will join us, starting Sunday, August 16, 2016, in praying for our beloved City???

We are Praying for our City 7 days a week!!!

Sunday - That the Gospel would be boldly and unashamedly proclaimed in our local churches. That our churches would be places for the broken, unwanted and hurting. That Christ will be offered as the only remedy for the very thing we cannot do, make our selves better or save ourselves.

Monday - Pray that Romans 8:35-39 would become a reality. Pray for yourself, for your family, for your pastors, & for your church. That our hope would be found in Christ and in Christ alone and that his hope would produce Gospel boldness in our lives.

Tuesday - Lord we declare Matthew 6:10 over our city. Father we declare that your Kingdom would come in Savannah as it is in heaven." We also pray for every hurting family in Savannah that the Lord would bring peace and healing.

Wednesday - Pray that our City, Savannah, would prosper. We declare that Savannah would be a City of opportunities for all people and that our Schools, Churches, Families, Businesses and Governmental Agencies would be blessed and filled with God's power. We also pray for the advancement of the gospel in our neighborhoods and we Pray for our neighbors.

Thursday - Pray boldly Psalms 33:8 over your city. That the people of Savannah would stand in awe before Him.

Friday - Pray Habakkuk 3:2 over your city. That the Lord’s love, wrath, justice and mercy would be made known in the City of Savannah.

Saturday: Pray that the Lord would increase our burden for our city. That our love and growth in the Gospel would produce a desire to see others saved, and grow in their love and understanding of who God is, what He has done and what He is doing.

WE MUST DO SOMETHING!!!

Don't Miss Your PROMISE

Did you know that the greatest thing that you can EVER learn is How To Worship?!
Properly aligning yourself in worship will rid you of dying Spiritually. How do we know that this is true? Well, The Word (Scriptures) gives us The Mind Of God. WORSHIP gives us The Heart Of God. Everyday, we should aim for God's Heart!

How Do We Hold Fast To This Lifestyle?

Let's Accept This Challenge:

Complaining will always cause you to miss your promise; however, your worship will cause your to understand your promise.

A PROMISE IS ASSIGNED TO YOUR LIFE!

2 Peter 1:4(a) Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:

PROMISES are HERE!

God wants to do everything he said, because He is NOT a Man that he should lie.
Don't be found going through the motions of CHURCH, and not be prepared for God's Promises.

Can You Imagine God Saying The He Has Taken You As Far As He Can?
The Children Of Israel became a group of murmuring individuals that forfeited the notion of Carrying God's Tangible Glory.

Let's Define These Terms:
Murmuring- Sound of Indistinction
Praise- Sound of Distinction

NOW, let's take this a step further:

Murmuring (complaining) keeps you from the promise, it is evil, and it's obvious that it is the OPPOSITE of Praise. Murmuring shows signs of "spiritual death." BUT, God wants to lift up a GLORIOUS Nation.

Do Not Miss The PROMISE Because of SYSTEMS!!!

Follow These Pertinent Steps:
1. Remain Young At Heart
2. Think Generationally
3. Be Pliable, Trainable, Teachable, Flexible, Attentive, Aware, and Alert

Remember To Open The Floodgates Of Thanksgiving In Your Life!
Always Respond To GOD With Thanksgiving For Everything He Does For You.

2 Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

PASTORS NOTES
FROM PASTOR CHARLES P. ROBERSON, SR.

Greetings, blessings, and Great Grace!! Where has the time gone? It’s December, 2013 and in a few days we will be saying goodbye to this year and welcoming 2014.

Over the past few weeks the Lord has been really dealing with me about being thankful.  I am certainly thankful for all that he has done for me, and my family, and those of you who are a part of this ministry. As we are in the Holiday Season, many are busy with holiday parties, shopping, and preparing for Christmas. There is nothing wrong with celebrating Christ at Christmas, but we also must be focused on the real meaning of this season. Over the past few years I have called our church family together at this time of year for a time of prayer, repenting, giving thanks, intercession, bonding, worship, and rededicating of our lives and service to the Lord.

This year is no different and I sense by the Spirit that we need to be very passionate, attentive, and intentional about our prayer gathering this year. Many in this Body are hurting, some are afflicted, some have serious family challenges, many have financial challenges, and yet others are in the best season of their lives. Every year when we meet during this time, the Lord’s presence is heavy on us and He sends special words and signs and wonders among this church family. This is a Miracle Season and if you have a Miracle Situation, set your expectations high and stand in Faith with me that you will soon have a Miracle Testimony! Please don’t slack on this one, make plans to be here all three nights, and take this very seriously as I have sought the Lord about the direction of this ministry. A major shift is coming for Kingdom Life. Stay connected and get even closer so you can be a part of it.

I love you and want the best for you and your family. This time of prayer and fasting will prepare us for the final harvest of 2013, and to start 2014 stronger than you have ever been. On December 13 we will have our very first all night Prayer and Praise Gathering. This night is being called “The Midnight Cry” and we will be focusing on Acts Chapter 16 for our focus scriptures. At midnight, we will send up a cry of praise and prayer to our God. Our focus this year is very simple.  We are asking God to grace us in the areas of:
Faith
Family
Fitness
Finances

True blessing and prosperity is Spirit, Soul, Body, Finance, and Family. These are the five areas that will allow us to truly represent the Kingdom and experience the abundant life. Let’s get ready to have our lives changed forever as we meet December 11 – 13, 2013.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 reads:  “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

THE POWER OF PRAYER AND FASTING

The Great prophet Isaiah said in Isaiah 58:6-8:
6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?  7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?  8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward.”

During this fast we will be in prayer every night at 6:30 p.m. at Kingdom Life. We will pray for the needs of the community and the needs of people. We will also be offering strategic prayer for the Body of Christ and our community that the Lord will give us “Divine Strategies” to counter the “wiles” of the devil.

         • Fasting will help you with humility.
         • Fasting will bring greater discipline into your life.
         • Fasting will strengthen the Spirit.
         • Fasting will position you to hear from God.
         • Fasting will lead you, the believer, to a greater spiritual freedom.

What’s interesting about fasting is that it helps us to walk more in the Spirit and less in the flesh. The Bible says that the flesh is the enemy of God and we will never please God walking in the flesh. Romans 8:6 - 9 reads:   6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.   8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Members and Covenant Partners of Kingdom Life are asked to join us by participating in the Daniel Fast, which is primarily eating fruits and vegetables and only natural foods.

What is Fasting?  Fasting is the voluntary abstinence from particular aspects of life in order to seek deep dimensions of fellowship and blessings with God. The Bible gives examples of two kinds of fasts:  the Absolute Fast (no food) that Jesus and Moses observed in Matthew 4:2 and Exodus 34:28; and the Partial Fast (abstaining from pleasures such as sweets and delicacies, red meat, pork, or lamb) that Daniel and John the Baptist observed in Daniel 1:8 and Matthew 3:4.

What is the Daniel Fast? The concept of a Daniel Fast comes from Daniel 1:8-14 which reads: “But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the Chief Official for permission not to defile himself this way. Now God had caused the official to show favor and sympathy to Daniel, but the official told Daniel, "I am afraid of my lord the king, who has assigned your food and drink. Why should he see you looking worse than the other young men do your age? The king would then have my head because of you." Daniel then said to the guard, whom the Chief Official had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, "Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see. So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days.”

The background of the “Daniel Fast” is that Daniel and his three friends had been “deported” to Babylon when Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonians had conquered Judah (2 Kings 24:13-14). Daniel and his three friends were in the Babylonian court servant “training program.” Part of the program was learning Babylonian customs, beliefs, laws, and practices. The eating habits of the Babylonians were not in complete agreement with the Mosaic Law. As a result, Daniel requested that he and his three friends not have to consume meat (which most likely was a sacrifice to Babylonian false gods and idols). Therefore, a Daniel Fast is eating only fruits and vegetables for a certain amount of time, and abstaining from meat products. Some people use a Daniel Fast as a dieting method. Some people use a Daniel Fast instead of fasting from food entirely. The Bible nowhere commands believers to observe a Daniel Fast. As a result, it is a matter of Christian freedom whether to observe a Daniel Fast.

The Standard Of Grace

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Romans 5:2
New Living Translation (NLT)
2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

Grace Is –
Initial Grace
Saving Grace
Enabling Grace
Un merited Favor
Guiding Grace
GRACE AND GLORY – THAT BREAKS THE POWER OF SIN
GRACE GIVES YOU THE DIVINE ENABLMENT TO SAY NOT TO THE FLESH AND OBEY THE WORD OF GOD

ROMANS 6
6 Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? 3 Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? 4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.
5 Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. 6 We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. 7 For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. 8 And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. 9 We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. 10 When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. 11 So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.
12 Do not let sin control the way you live;[a] do not give in to sinful desires. 13 Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. 14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.

HOW CAN WE HAVE GRACE AND DIS GRACE ???
GRACE – . Seemingly effortless beauty or charm of movement, form, or proportion.
2. A characteristic or quality pleasing for its charm or refinement.
3. A sense of fitness or propriety.
4.
a. A disposition to be generous or helpful; goodwill.
b. Mercy; clemency.
5. A favor rendered by one who need not do so; indulgence.
6. A temporary immunity or exemption; a reprieve.

DIS=GRACE - 1. Loss of honor, respect, or reputation; shame.
2. The condition of being strongly and generally disapproved.
3. One that brings disfavor or discredit: Your handwriting is a disgrace.
tr.v.dis·graced, dis·grac·ing, dis·grac·es
1. To bring shame or dishonor on: disgraced the entire community.
2. To deprive of favor or good repute; treat with disfavor:

WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE SPIRIT OF DIS-GRACE
BUT THE SPIRIT OF GRACE

GRACE – CANCELS THE SPIRIT OF COMDEMNATION
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Neither DO I Condemn You –

Go – Released To Move Forward
Sin No More – Don’t Miss The Mark Again
DON’T KEEP MISSING THE MARK

THE STANDARD OF GRACE IS – AFTER WE RECEIVE OF THE LORD WE HAVE THE ABILITY AND POWER TO GO IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION

Philippians 3:13-15
King James Version (KJV)
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Philippians 3:13-15
New Living Translation (NLT)
13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it,[a] but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
15 Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you.

Philippians 3:13-16
The Message (MSG)
Focused on the Goal
12-14 I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.
15-16 So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet! Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.
