Well Good day to you and I pray that you are enjoying the presence of the Lord today. We are in a very unique time in the Kingdom and I think that God has chosen this time to purify and perfect his body.

Recently as I closed one of our worship services (after preaching on complaining) I encouraged our congregation (jokingly) to join me for a "No Complaining Week". I soon discovered how important this subject is to God and how we should give attention to it.

The SUBJECT OF COMPLAINING SHOWS OUR CARNALITY AND IMMATURITY AND HOW SPOILED WE ARE. Complaining is like a spiritual cancer To our spiritual life and it has A contagious effect on others. It brings a negative atmosphere of unbelief and according to the bible can even lead to the wrath of God.

Numbers 11:1
And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.

1.     Complaining Displeases God
2.     God Hears It
3.     It Can Bring The Wrath Of God

Now the bible is very clear that our words are important and they bring one of two results. Many people think that words are just words but that is the furtherest thing from the truth. The bible says:

Proverbs 18:21 (King James Version)

21Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Are hearts are just like soil and must be fertile for the good planting of the word of God.

Matthew 12:35-37 (King James Version)

35A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

36But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

As Believers instead of being Chronic Complainers we should speak faith filled words that bring glory to God, Edify others, and speak faith to our own hearts.

Lets try and use our words today to bless the Lord and encourage others. These verses may help you.

Psalm 34:1-33 (King James Version)
1I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
11Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
